Questions we frequently get asked
To help make your camper van booking as easy as possible, we have compiled a list of questions we are frequently asked with answers.
How old do I have to be to hire a camper?
You must be aged between 25 and 70 and must have been driving for at least 2 years.
What happens if the camper breaks down?
The campers are very well maintained and regularly serviced however in the unlikely event of this happening you will be fully covered by AA.
Can I bring a pet?
When most people say pet they mean a small cat or dog, which is fine with prior notice but unfortunately we can’t accommodate giraffes or elephants. We do charge an additional £15 for pets, this is to cover the extra cleaning involved.
How do I pay for my camper?
A £80 deposit is payable at the time of booking by debit/credit card, via PayPal or by cheque. The remaining balance and returnable security deposit to be paid 2 weeks prior to your holiday date by the same methods.
Is there anywhere to carry a bike?
A bike rack can be provided free of charge, please ask at time of booking.
Is there a limit on how far we can go?
You can go where you like and as far as you like we try to promote freedom on your holiday and restricting mileage would spoil your holiday so as long as the campers back on the agreed date there’s nothing more to worry about.
Can we take the camper abroad?
Sorry the camper must stay in the UK, but with some much to do in the UK why would you want to venture away from our shores?
